History: Leo has been involved in the customer service industry for over 30 years. The majority of this time was with a multi-national retailer overseeing 22 stores throughout S.A. and N.T. Leo has a keen passion for customer service and takes great pride in achieving set goals. In his spare time he enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with the family.
In early 2008, he joined the family business to help facilitate the introduction of the  wholesale haberdashery division and further develop the alteration – dressmaking business. 

CONNIE D’AGOSTINO:
Position: Sales and Production Director

History: Connie started her alterations business in 2000 after working several years for a business in the city. Initially, she worked part time from a spare room at home, which allowed her time with her kids. As the business grew, a shopfront was setup at Chapel St, Norwood. In 2011, the need for larger premises led to our current location at Unley Road, Unley
Connie graduated from her T.A.F.E. course in 1998. This course was an important grounding. Her skills then developed with many years of working with clients and different staffs. Connie will be the first to tell you, “I will never stop learning. There are always new and better techniques to be learnt”.

ANTONIA ZAPPIA:
Position: Head Dressmaker

History: Antonia was born in a small town called Careri in Reggio Calabria, Italy. Growing up as a child she was introduced to sewing from family and friends, not so much as a hobby but out of necessity. It became obvious she enjoyed what she was doing so was sent to formal classes. From there she began to sew from home to help supplement the family income. She eventually married and migrated to Adelaide were she raised her two kids and worked in various apparel workshops. Antonia brings to the table “old school values”. She treats the business as her own and is always willing to go the extra mile. Her work ethic and positive attitude makes her a favourite with her team mates.

FLORIJE EMINI:
Position:Sales consultant – Dressmaker

History: Florije was head hunted for her pattern making and garment construction skills. She has achieved an advanced diploma in fashion production and is currently undertaking a work based sales training course. Florije loves the creativity and variety her role brings. She demonstrates good judgement when problem solving and her fashion sense is first rate.
On the week end Florije like’s nothing better than to spend time with her fiancé Alex. They both enjoy keeping fit and are keen surfers and bike riders.

TANIA TIAN:
Position: Dressmaker

History: Tania arrived in Australia from her home town of  Nanning in China in April 2008. She comes highly qualified with many awards and achievements including graduating from a clothing technology course at the Bejing University. Tania has had 15 years in the industry, which includes running her own fashion design and consultancy business for 7 years. She is particularly familiar with caberet and stage costume design from working as chief fashion designer for a T.V. network in her hometown.
Her love of the Australian lifestyle,(and our food) is her driving force as she hopes to gain permanent residency status. Tania has a very cheerful outlook to life and her wacky antics always leave us smiling. 

PHYLIS GRAHAM:
Position: Part time Dressmaker

History: Phyl is our longest serving staff member having commenced with Connie back in 2000 when she first started trading. Phyl takes on her duties in her stride. She can always be relied upon to make herself available when we are overloaded with work and is very aware of what our standards and expectations are. She adds stability to the team and her many years of experience is highly valued by all of us. Phyl is a great cook and often brings in treats for the team.
