Chapel Sewing Solutions started in 2000 as a part time alterations business run from a spare room at home.
Today, we are conveniently located several minutes from the city in Unley.
Trading hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm and Saturday 9.00am to 1.00pm.
Times are also available Thursday nights for your convenience.
We employ six talented team members, who all have a common goal of providing a pleasant and caring experience to you our client.

Basic alterations and repairs have included such jobs as stage curtains, stretch limo covers, fitted chair covers, (yes we had to get the chair in for a fitting). Other more elaborate requests have been promotional costumes for the Clipsal grid girls and theme costumes for dance groups and fancy dress parties all of which have been great fun to do. Other areas include corporate uniforms and our specialty is Bridal and Formal wear. We have accessories such as ties, and offer a hoop hiring service.

Our wholesale haberdashery business is unique. We are local and carry an extensive and exclusive range of products right here in Adelaide. We cater to all markets in the commercial area (such as tailors, embroiders and quilters ) and to the domestic market. Some of the big brands we proudly stock are, Rasant, Isacord, Sylko, Alcazar, Astra and Kufner.

Part rolls and boxes are available and advise can be given with confidence as we use the products we sell.

OUR CUSTOMERS ARE WHY WE ARE HERE. Our focus is on TRUST & VALUE. We achieve this by completing all work to a standard and by the agreed date. Being able to listen to customer’s ideas is very important. Staff are constantly reminded, “we have two ears and one mouth, so listen twice as much as you talk”. The ability to translate ideas into reality makes you happy and is rewarding for us as well. In short, we’re not too concerned about the customers we don’t have. We would rather do the best job we can with the customer in front of us today.

OUR STAFF ARE OUR STRENGTH. We cannot get the job done on our own. Our people are trained to deliver a minimum and consistent standard of quality and service. Any hurdles are removed to ensure a happy productive environment. Regular meetings are conducted to provide a vehicle for feedback and to get every one involved in the decision making process. Staff, also receive their entitlements (which is a problem in this industry). Health and safety is taken very seriously and measures are taken to ensure staff stay fresh and alert throughout the day.
